Crochet Newborn Elf Beanie

Who doesn’t love a crocheted elf beanie? Long, cute, quirky and the stuff that adorable newborn shoots are made of.

And the best part? They’re so easy to crochet.

So you can only imagine my excitement when the very talented Natasha Lubbe Photography used one of my crocheted creations for a newborn photoshoot she did recently.

Which I love, because I (like every conceited crocheter) love seeing the final product being done adorable justice… rather than flattened and folded on my kitchen counter, which is always how I see them before they’re delivered.

So, in summary, using earth tones (brown and cream) and Oodles 4 Noodles Long Tailed Elf Hat crochet pattern, I hooked up my own version.
